Tula is a SEND and art tutor working in Brighton and/or online.
Sessions are person centred depending on the needs of the student. As an artist, Tula specialises in teaching illustration and drawing, but can also support with Functional Skills, KS1, KS2 and some KS3 work (subject dependent).
She has an enhanced DBS and has experience supporting neurodivergent students, complex learning needs, SEMH, PDA and the impact of being out of education.
Sometimes students just need support to re-engage with education after challenging experiences at school, and Tula has worked with students on topics of interest to help them reconnect, feel safer and prepare them for an upcoming school placement.
Tula is also an experienced yoga teacher (20 years), and brings a supportive and calm presence to her work.
SEND tutoring is usually LEA or Council funded, and Tula can be booked via Bright Teach (link below)
