Tula is an experienced, compassionate teacher, with first hand knowledge of working with a long term back injury. Her first yoga class was in 1997, and Tula has experience practicing Hatha, Ashtanga, Bikram and Forrest Yoga. She trained with Bikram Choudhury and Uma Dimsmore-Tuli in 2006 and 2009 respectively, and is qualified to teach Hot Yoga and Pregnancy Yoga. Her teaching is based on honesty, opening up, focus, with an emphasis on the importance of alignment, technique and good breath. She is currently preparing to go on a Forrest Yoga teacher training course in March 2019. Like drawing, yoga is part of Tula's daily life, either a studio class or self practice at home.
